B R Communications Inc. (BRC) came into existence in January 1997 with many goals in mind to serve our community. Currently on staff we have a state licensed master electrician, licensed professional civil engineer with experience in site plans, zoning and permitting, a commercial pesticide applicator, experienced technicians/installers, general manager with experience in account payables/receivables and over twenty years of office procedures and customer service with two notary publics.
BRC is a two-way radio sales, service, and public safety equipment company. Although we have Kenwood, Icom America, and Relm radio dealerships (radios on VA state contract), we also purchase and service other manufacturer radios. Aside from sales and service we also have a large customer base (to include private sector and public safety) for which we provide repeater service for our five mountain-top sites located throughout the Shenandoah Valley. We are e-VA registered.
BRC is well established within the public safety community as well. We not only provide equipment installation and repair service, but we are a Code 3 Inc. dealership. Some of our customers include police departments, fire, and rescue services within the counties of Rockingham, Augusta, Page, Greene, Rockbridge, Albemarle, Shenandoah, Frederick, Warren, Highland, and Pendleton along with the cities of Harrisonburg, Winchestor, and South Boston. We also service James Madison University and JMU police department along with Great Eastern Resort Management in Virginia.
BRC also provides pager service to a constantly growing customer base. Our pager service coverage extends not only throughout the Shenandoah Valley, but into West Virginia.
We recently have become a service center for Kustom Signals. We not only are state certified for the calibration of radar tuning forks, but we are certified for all radar equipment repair. We have a customer base that is growing everyday throughout Virginia.
BRC is currently expanding their operations into the fields of site acquistions, site development, and wireless internet.
Under our sister company, Advantage Communication Systems (ACS) we provide the community with site management, tower site development, licensing and site acquistions. We have a continually growing customer base which includes Alltel Wireless and Great Eastern Resort Management.
